Fun trip !

Cold night- I just came back from Sabah yesterday. Well well the plane got delayed for about an hour due to the weather. When I reached hostel it was already 9.30pm. This trip was really fun as in there are great people, good food, and fantastic beaches. Though I didn't went down the sea for snorkeling but just stay on the sandy beaches were worth enough ! The first day when we reached KK International Airport we were picked up by Sam, Ming and Hing and we sit in the car for next 2 hours to get to Kuala Penyu. The first impression when I saw the condition of that place, I was wondering, 'What? Are we really going to stay in here?'.. *giggles* But got really used to it an hour or two after that and the scenery from the deck is really relaxing ! That night was really a fun night with games that are real funny and the dinner was awesome since it were like home cooked dishes.

The second day we went down to Labuan for duty free merchandises. Around 4.30pm we're leaving to Klias river for fire flies and proboscis monkeys. Proboscis monkeys are monkeys with a large fleshy nose. Well pictures taken with my camera were not clear since we are too far away from the monkeys. That day Ah Fook (main chef) was barbecuing chicken wings, squids, hot dogs, and so many more as our dinner. Seriously I was way too busy enjoying the food and I forgot to take a picture of it. *grins*

The third day we were leaving Kuala Penyu and headed to KK city. We are staying in a service apartment. There was a sense of relieved when I reached the condominium ! But I still misses Kuala Penyu for it's simple and basic environment. We rest for a little while and we headed out to a restaurant for seafood. After dinner, we went to a local supermarket to get some mineral water, chips, serviettes and some other necessary stuffs. We went to a local bar for a drink but I forgot what's the name of that bar. An hour after that we went to another bar for live band. This bar I could remember the name since it was a little funny, Cock and Bull.

The fourth day of our trip we went to Manukan Island. We went to the jetty around 10am and reaches there around 10.15am so we could board on the 10.30am boat to the island. We reached the island around 11am and we left around 3.45pm. The island has clear water but the sand is not that good though ! It hurts my feet ! We went back to condominium to bathe and get ready for dinner. This time we went down to another restaurant nearby Sam's house for seafood dinner too. Not bad overall at least cheaper than the restaurant near KK city. After that as usual we went to RED, mixture of pub and disco whereby they got a live band over there. Seriously, their singing ain't that bad but due to they're screaming most of the time it made it sounded a little too over.

The fifth day we went to Mamuntik Island. This island is so much smaller than Manukan Island. The sand is better than Manukan Island but there are a lot of corals nearby the shore which made my feet pain too ! Me, Uncle Wah, bro-in-law, and my sister went for jet ski ! It was fun if the waves were not that high. It was a little scary at the same time since I worry I might Just fell off when Uncle Wah drift across the waves. But lucky enough I'm safe and sound throughout the whole skiing process...! Went back to the beach half an hour after that and munch on some sandwiches that my mom made and some duck meat that Ming packed nearby his house.
We went back quite early this time for seafood in Salut and sunset in Nexus Resort.
Night time we went down to FireFly a newly opened bar for a drink ! That night was the last night we had fun ! The club in Sabah is way much different than KL clubs.

The last day I woke up around 9am since my lovely mom woke me up to PACK MY OWN STUFF ! After she woke me up only she asked, by the way what time you slept yesterday? *faint* Obviously I slept late since went down to bar and supper ! But anyway we headed to Kok Man a typical local kopitiam (coffee shop) that serves hand made noodles ! After that went to Tanjung Aru which is nearby the airport for coconut ! Darn missed the places that we went across the six days in Sabah ! And voila we reached airport around 3.30 pm to check in.. I felt a little sour when saying goodbye to Sam, Yan, and Ming.. Hopefully can meet them next month when they're coming over to KL !
